About Siglio
Siglio is an independent press in Los Angeles dedicated to publishing uncommon books that live at the intersection of art and literature. Siglio books are hybrid works that defy easy categorization, subvert paradigms, and reveal unexpected connections. We strive to publish without compromise—each title embodies the inimitable vision of its author. Siglio cultivates wider audiences for original, provocative work, whether by renowned, forgotten, or unknown artists and writers. Our books ignite conversation and thoroughly engage the reader’s intellect and imagination: they are as much as pleasure to touch and hold as they are to read.
We publish trade books, limited editions (which may include an artist’s multiple or an original work of art), and special editions of ephemera (little booklets, cards, posters, etc.) that we give away for free when you place an order at www.sigliopress.com. And now this blog is an extension of Siglio’s editorial mission. You’ll find previously unpublished material here as well as online exclusives, special things to download and print out, curated resources on artists and writers, as well as features of and links to things we love, that inspire us, and with which Siglio has some kind of affinity.
